How do I find 15% of a number?

How do you calculate percentage change?
Percentage change = ((New Value − Old Value) / Old Value) × 100. If sales went from ₹80,000 to ₹92,000, the change is ((92,000 − 80,000) / 80,000) × 100 = 15%. What does percentage of total mean?
It tells you how large a part is relative to the whole. If a product costs ₹500 out of a total bill of ₹3,500, its share of the total is (500 / 3,500) × 100 = 14.29%.
